Selections Coordinator

As a Selections Coordinator, you establish trust and build a strong rapport with clients as you consult with them about their material selection choices for their new home. Your seasoned knowledge of residential construction, skills as a negotiator, people skills and knack for interior design will make you truly excel in this position.

Responsibilities:

• Manage client selections throughout entire process
• Direct, coordinate, and schedule all selection appointments between vendors and clients
• Attend mechanical and cabinet design meetings
• Manage all material selections, selection related change orders and purchase orders within Buildertrend construction management software
• Send all necessary documents to subcontractors/vendors with information they need to complete their scope of work (cabinet drawings, appliance specs, plumbing specs, floor heights, up-to-date plans, etc.)
• Communicate with Site Manager, Operations Manager and Designer on items such as plan related changes, material delivery and installation dates
• Assemble design books for client projects after final selections are complete

Requirements:

• Associate Degree or higher in Interior Design or equivalent
• 5+ years’ experience in residential construction as a Selections Coordinator or similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience with Buildertrend construction management software, a plus
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans
• Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills
