The Opportunity

As a Sr Analyst, you will be a core member of our Data & Analytics team, focused on building transformative reporting and analytic tools for our Franchisees and corporate team. This team member will design, develop, document, and support business intelligence solutions that enable data analytics, reporting, and decision-making.

An ideal candidate will be someone with broad technical background in data analytics, strong business acumen, high degree of ownership, and is customer focused. The successful candidate will also be a great communicator who can crisply communicate his/her analysis in non-technical terms to senior management. They will have a strong bias towards data-driven decision making and will be comfortable with ambiguity while working in a fast-paced dynamic environment. This role will work closely with business stakeholders and technical partners define and design and build extensive reporting and analytics solutions within Power BI. Your expertise will enable us to uncover actionable insights that has a direct impact to the bottom line, while designing for standard and simple data availability for all users.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to define and design and build extensive reporting and analytics solutions within Power BI
• Define and build data products to drive sales and profitability for the business, create key performance indicators and new methodologies for measurement.
• Building automated data solutions and dashboards to enable teams to self-service 80% of data needs, allowing you to focus on answering hard and ambiguous problems.
• Build, review, audit existing ETL jobs and SQL queries. Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
• Improve upon existing analytic methodologies by developing new data sources, testing model enhancements, and fine-tuning parameters.
• Develop queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests and projects, as well as ongoing reporting.
• Conduct written and verbal presentation to share insights and recommendations to audiences of varying levels of technical sophistication.
• Reporting key insight trends, using statistical rigor to simplify and inform the larger team of noteworthy story lines that impact the business.
• Implement training and documentation solutions that enable business stakeholders to get the most out of our self-serve reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer / Systems / Industrial Engineering, Business / Management Information Systems or Software Development.
• 2+ years of experience as a Analyst
• SQL querying skills; Experience writing and troubleshooting complex SQL scripts and ETL development
• Extensive experience with building reporting & analytic solutions in Power BI
• Experience communicating technical content to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience using version control (git)
• Strong attention to detail with project management experience and exceptional organizational skills
