The Nissan DEI & Philanthropy team is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Senior Analyst to support our regional philanthropic efforts. The ideal candidate is a self-driven and collaborative individual with a passion for working across teams and uplifting communities.
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Philanthropy to join our team at the Nissan North Americas Headquarters in Franklin, TN. This position will report to the Senior Manager, Philanthropy and work closely with the entire DEI team.
Job functions:
Manage the grantmaking lifecycle, including the application system, incoming requests, historical recordkeeping, and correspondence with current and potential non-profit partners.
Analyze and research prospective grantees to ensure alignment with Nissan giving priorities.
Manage grant award disbursements and related recordkeeping.
Support grantee relationships through scheduling partner meetings and site visits and overseeing the reporting schedule for Nissan supported projects.
Contribute to the internal and external visibility of Nissan philanthropy by supporting the philanthropy area of the Nissan website, overseeing the internal Sharepoint page, and collaborating with communications teams for storytelling related to Nissan’s community partnerships and societal impact.
Collect, organize, and support distribution of event tickets provided by partners for Nissan employees.
Serve as program lead on various community-focused employee engagement activities. (i.e. annual United Way campaign, Salvation Army Angel Tree, donation drives, blood banks, Habitat for Humanity builds, mobile food pantries, wilderness trail clean-ups, etc.)
Support corporate relationships under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Philanthropy.
Support and provide proactive leadership with internal and external reporting requirements.
Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Philanthropy to ensure Nissan philanthropy operates within the vision and goals of Nissan.
Required Skills and Experience:
5+ years of directly related professional experience
Self-starter with proven skills to organize, prioritize, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
Polished professional presence and relationship management skills
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills.
Must be highly organized and self-driven, and possess excellent time management skills
Demonstrable flexibility and resilience in a dynamic work environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (MS word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Team player, collaborative mindset
Positive, can-do attitude
Attention to detail
