We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Senior Application Programmer for a Full-Time position.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Application Programmer who is experienced in Java, C/C++, SQL, and web services such as Apache, JBoss/Tomcat. The ideal candidate should have experience in systems such as Linux, HP-UX, and Unix Shell Scripting. This position also requires proficiency with IDEs such as IntelliJ and Eclipse, and experience in DevOps, continuous integration using Jenkins, Junit, Cobertura, CppUnit, Bullseye, and Sonarqube. The Senior Applications Programmer will be responsible for the development of back-end Java applications using JDBC, working with databases and applications such as Postgres, Oracle, PgAdmin, and DBVisualizer, and using source control tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Clearcase, CVS, and SVN. The successful candidate should be familiar with Scrum and Agile practices such as Jira and Rally and have experience with building tools such as Ant and Ivy. Additionally, experience in system, database, and network administration is necessary, along with troubleshooting skills to track down problems and collaborate with others on fixes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain back-end Java applications using JDBC.
• Design and implement database schemas and scripts.
• Work with databases and applications such as Postgres, Oracle, PgAdmin, and DBVisualizer.
• Use source control tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Clearcase, CVS, and SVN.
• Use build tools such as Ant and Ivy.
• Work with web services such as Apache, JBoss/Tomcat.
• Monitor system performance using Glowroot, and JProbe.
• Write and maintain Unix Shell scripts.
• Troubleshoot problems and collaborate with others on fixes.
• Develop DevOps continuous integration using Jenkins, Junit, Cobertura, CppUnit, Bullseye, and Sonarqube.
• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile practices such as Jira and Rally.
• Experience in system, database, and network administration.
• Use Splunk, Confluence, and Windows Office applications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Windows Office applications.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
