Job Description:

L3Harris corporation is seeking a candidate to analyze and improve sequences of manufacturing / operations and workflows to improve efficiencies pertaining to cost/schedule control, cost reduction, inventory control, and all phases of production record systems. The candidate will assist with establishing methods for maximum utilization of production processes through improvement initiatives.

Essential Functions:

• Provides continuous improvement support to manufacturing operations and related functional areas
• Lead and support improvement efforts directed towards workflow, work sequencing, work area layout, and standardized work
• Monitor and development improvement efforts to ensure safe and efficient utilization of time, personnel, material, equipment, and capital resources

Qualifications:

• May manage small to large projects or processes that are both inside and outside of immediate job area
• Responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees through continuous improvement initiatives
• Identifies and addresses changes within own job area; some impact on department results
• Security clearance required but is not necessary

Preferred Additional Skills:
