RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Senior Benefits Analyst in Old Westbury, New York (NY). This role reports directly to the Executive Director of HR and has incredible stability and career growth. They will have over 40 days PTO (including holidays), flexible hybrid schedule, and great mentorship!

Responsibilities include:
  • Be a key and crucial member of the HCM implementation team as our institution searches for and transitions from the Oracle EBS platform to a new cloud-based HCM system
  • Serve as the internal HR Benefits client project manager, liaising with HR, Payroll, IT, Senior Project Manager, other internal stakeholders, and the vendor's and implementation partner's teams
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in employee health and welfare plan administration so should have extensive experience in the functional aspect of plan administration as well as exposure to project management and system and process analysis and configuration
  • Oversee the HR Benefits discovery process, manage testing, document requirements and changes in new business processes and systems, conduct testing, work with data validation, mapping, migration and training
  • Post implementation, this person serves as the SME for benefits best practices
  • Collaborate with HR, internal stakeholders, and implementation partners to document strategic vision as it relates to benefits administration and translate it into implications/critical success factors for the implementation
  • Analyze current business processes and data flows and provide best practices and solutions to complex business problems
  • Work closely with quality assurance teams to perform comprehensive end-to-end testing of the application, including all integrations and data flows
  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions for HR benefits throughout the life of the project and afterwards
  • Work closely with IT on data security and privacy and integrations
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or master's degree preferred
  • Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) certification and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desirable
  • 5-7 years of related HR benefits, employee-self-service; HRIS experience required
  • 2 years of directly-related HCM cloud-based implementation experience required
  • Familiarity with major benefit laws and regulations, including COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA
  • Professional experience that relies heavily on data administration, analysis, and auditing
  • Previous experience in benefits systems and working with benefit plans
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Deep understanding of MS 365 applications (with advanced Excel (macros, vlookups, pivot tables), data administration, analysis and reporting skills)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
