The Morgan County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for a Senior Center Assistant. This is a part-time position reporting directly to the Center Director. This is a hands-on position that requires a variety of tasks and imagination. This employee must be able to perform in flexible situations where varying needs may arise and must be able to relate well to elderly individuals. Work involves considerable direct contact with the public and is usually performed in accordance with specific instructions. A high school diploma or equivalent in the social work or a related field preferred, or five years experience of progressively responsible nature in a human service delivery capacity; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Compensation: $14.58 an hour with 25 hours a week.
