Job Title: Senior Instrumentation and Control Systems Designer

Location: Sugar Land, TX

Salary Range: $124,800.00 to $141,440.00 Annually

Our office in Sugar Land, TX is currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Instrumentation and Control Systems Designer to join our team.

Job Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in Instrument & Control System Design for Oil and Gas Refineries and Chemical Plants.
• High proficiency with 2D AUTOCAD, EXCEL, MicroStation, CADWORX, BlueBeam, and ACCESS desired.

Requirements:

• Proven design ability with a track record of effective time management, coordination of design teams, quality control, and technical direction.
• In-depth technical knowledge of detail design, including the ability to review P&IDs, revise interlock schematics/motor schematics, Wiring diagrams, Loop diagrams Demo packages, and I/O loading.
• Proficiency in creating Junction Boxes, Marshalling Panels, and DCS/PLC Cabinets with BOM.
• Ability to create Instrument Installation Details and generate material take-offs supporting estimates.
• Experience in creating conduit and cable tray drawings, including support details and sizing calculations based on applicable codes and client standards.
• Strong design ability in Electrical low voltage applications to support instrumentation design, such as 120 VAC power to instruments, lighting/instrument power panels, 120 VAC UPS circuits, and general NEC knowledge of grounding/bonding.
• Field survey experience and proficiency in planning/execution of hot/cold cutovers.
• Self-motivated with excellent client interface skills and a strong sense of accountability for all work product deliverables.
• Fiber experience is desired.
