Job Title: Senior IT Audit & Compliance Specialist
Work Location
· Washington, DC.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
· At least 5 years of experience in IT related audits and compliance.
· Strong understanding of IT processes and procedures.
· Knowledge of FISMA related audits and compliance.
· Subject Matter Expert (SME) applying and implementing NIST SP 800 series and OMB guidance.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Certification in one or more of the following areas is preferred: CISSP, CISA, CRISC, or equivalent.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct IT audits and assessments to evaluate compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and standards.
· Identify and document IT controls and assess their effectiveness.
· Assist with the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and controls.
· Communicate findings and recommendations to IT management and other stakeholders.
· Assist with the management of the IT audit process.
· Keep up-to-date with relevant regulations, policies, and standards.
· Participate in IT risk assessments and support the development of IT risk management strategies.
