Objectives of This Role

• Support VST IT organizational objectives to mitigate cyber security risk, achieve high system availability, and provide excellent end user support in order to minimize negative business impacts.

• Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware to support the VST IT organizational objectives to mitigate cyber security risk, achieve high system availability, and provide excellent end user support in order to minimize negative business impacts.

• Participate and conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of help desk technology procurement and development efforts.

• Participate and/or drive IT related projects and solutions at one or multiple sites.

Daily and Monthly Responsibility

• Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly

• Monitor data center health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed

• Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, and security updates; support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments

• Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups

Skills and Qualifications

• Must have some hands-on experience managing and maintaining the VMware infrastructure environment

• Must have hand on experience with Office 365 administration and MFA products

• Must have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications. Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etcetera - installation, configuration, and troubleshooting)

• Must have good organization and documentation skills and the ability to prioritize work.

• Must have hands on experience setting up domain users, reviewing group policies, managing OU permissions, and maintaining the account and network passwords.

• Must have a good understanding of firewall concepts and the ability to troubleshoot as needed.

• Good working knowledge of networking – TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT/PAT, VLANs

• Able to work after hours as needed and/or support facilities after hours by phone or computer.

• MDM Management experience using Intune as part of O365 to deploy IOS/Android/Laptop

Salary range $60,000 to $80,000.
