Senior Manager, Global Value Creation
The purpose of this role is to support the Global Value Creation’s (GVC’s) enabling of initiatives to help brands, functions, and affiliates deliver increased cost savings, accelerate sales growth, and build new capabilities to enable these. This includes collaborating closely with specific business units with implementation including cross-business collaboration. It also includes supporting GVC’s regular reporting requirements including inputs for the GVC Council, and assessment, analysis, operational reviews, proposals, development of metrics, and benchmarking, to identify and quantify potential new areas of value.
- Deep Subject Matter Expertise in data analysis and ability to synthesize into a very concise purpose to enable business insights.
- Problem solving skills with ability to analyze complex sets of data and processes to identify trends and patterns, and form and test hypotheses.
- Present findings and communicate recommendations to senior leadership utilizing influencing and collaboration.
- Support GVC’s enabling of initiatives to help brands and affiliates deliver increased cost savings, accelerate sales growth, and build new capabilities to support these.
- Support to GVC operational analysis as needed prior to transition of new capabilities/processes to respective business areas.
- Support adoption with teams of new tools, processes, and metrics that foster performance tracking and measurement.
- Model opportunities and identify process improvements (i.e., root cause analysis, impact analysis, etc.) to deliver cost savings.
- Identify opportunity areas in all Opex lines that can generate value and be transformed into projects with brands or regions.
- Project management of GVC improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously on projects and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics.
- 5+ Years of relevant experience.
- Problem solving skills with ability to analyze complex sets of data and processes to identify trends and patterns, form, and test hypotheses, and proactively seek data inputs which may be “outside the box”.
- Experience in PMO/ portfolio management preferably across a diverse range of projects.
- Finance leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to engage teams across brands, regions, and functions and to manage multiple projects and leading others.
- Proficiency on Budget control and Budget to Report processes (budget, estimates, LRP), platforms, tools, and systems (e.g., Excel, Power BI, MS Project, Tableau, Jira, Sana, Trello, QuickBase, Smartsheet).
- High proficiency in MS Office and project management tools, especially Excel.
- Proven communication skills across different media.
U.S. Corporate/Office Exempt Roles
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $95,000 to $156,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
