JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Mechanic coordinates the set-up of repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment and in fabricating metal parts and tools.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
-
Comply with Eco Material Technologies Safety Policies and Procedures -
Directs workers in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment
-
Assists workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment
-
Dismantles, assembles and installs industrial machinery
-
Does welding, cutting and fabrication of parts
-
Requisitions and keeps supply of spare parts
-
Estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment
-
Interprets specifications and job orders
-
Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules
-
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product
-
Maintains time and production records
-
Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
The employee should have the following:

High School Diploma or equivalent and training or certification in relevant skill or trade -
1 - 2 years' experience in a relevant field

The employee should possess the ability to:

Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl -
Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable

Wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision and hardhat protection)

Lift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds

Ability to move or traverse about the facilities

Must be able to ascend/descend stairs or ladders

Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions

El Mecánico Superior coordina la instalación de reparación y mantenimiento de maquinaria y equipo y en la fabricación de piezas y herramientas metálicas.
FUNCIONES ESENCIALES:

Cumplir con las políticas y procedimientos de seguridad de Eco Material Technologies -
Dirige a los trabajadores en el mantenimiento y reparación eléctrica, electrónica, mecánica, hidráulica y neumática de maquinaria y equipo

Asiste a los trabajadores en el diagnóstico de mal funcionamiento de maquinaria y equipo
-
Desmonta, monta e instala maquinaria industrial
-
Efectúa soldadura, corte y fabricación de piezas
-
Solicita y mantiene el suministro de repuestos
-
Estima los requisitos de horas de trabajo para completar la asignación de trabajo
-
Interpreta especificaciones y órdenes de trabajo
-
Establece o ajusta los procedimientos de trabajo para cumplir con los horarios de producción
-
Recomienda medidas para mejorar los métodos de producción, el rendimiento del equipo y la calidad del producto
-
Mantiene registros de tiempo y producción
-
Tener una asistencia regular, puntualidad y flexibilidad de horario
