Senior Payroll Specialist Job at Commonwealth Financial Network

Key Responsibilities
- Processing our multistate biweekly payroll for 1,100+ employees
- Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee information
- Collecting and validating payroll inputs, bonus payments, additional pay items, and deductions
- Managing workflow to ensure that all payroll transactions are processed accurately and on time
- Adhering to payroll policies and procedures
- Responding to and assisting employees with inquiries and questions in a timely manner
- Owning and completing complex and sensitive projects, as needed
- Seeking innovative ways to improve payroll processes and procedures
- Coordinating year-end reporting and issuing annual employee tax documents

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations and laws
Additional Skills and Knowledge
- 5+ years of payroll processing experience
- Advanced-level experience with Microsoft Office 365
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
