We’re looking for a senior payroll specialist to join our ranks. Are you a detail-driven and organized payroll professional with a passion for providing top-notch service? In this role, you’ll be responsible for running the biweekly payroll while ensuring compliance with company policy and state and federal regulations. As with every position in Human Resources, there will be other projects, opportunities, and assignments, too.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing our multistate biweekly payroll for 1,100+ employees
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee information
  • Collecting and validating payroll inputs, bonus payments, additional pay items, and deductions
  • Managing workflow to ensure that all payroll transactions are processed accurately and on time
  • Adhering to payroll policies and procedures
  • Responding to and assisting employees with inquiries and questions in a timely manner
  • Owning and completing complex and sensitive projects, as needed
  • Seeking innovative ways to improve payroll processes and procedures
  • Coordinating year-end reporting and issuing annual employee tax documents

Additional Skills and Knowledge

  • 5+ years of payroll processing experience
  • Advanced-level experience with Microsoft Office 365
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
