Role: Senior Portfolio Marketing Manager

Job Description:
EXL is seeking an experienced portfolio marketing manager to develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives that drive growth in data analytics and digital solutions and operations. This role is responsible for buyer personas and journey mapping, global messaging and value propositions, solution launches, acquisition integrations, and the coordination of global content, thought leadership and campaigns that drive awareness and preference for an assigned portfolio of services and solutions.

Essential job responsibilities include:
  • Own the market-facing portfolio architecture, GTM processes and solution launches for designated service lines within EXL, in collaboration with business and sales leadership.
  • Create global messaging and value propositions for the designated service lines and drive adherence to key messages across the broader market-facing teams.
  • Develop the marketing strategy and associated global campaigns, content, and thought leadership for the designated service line, working with a cross-functional marketing team to execute, with the goal of generating qualified leads resulting in new pipeline opportunities, building brand awareness, and establishing EXL as a thought leader in the market.
  • Identify and segment target audiences, develop buyer personas, and align campaign tactics to the buyer journey, including web and SEO/SEM.
  • Support acquisitions and manage integration of acquired company solutions into the portfolio.
  • Uncover and use customer references stories to enhance customer perception across the engagement cycle
  • Enable sellers with messaging, value props, content and tools to enable client conversations.
  • Leverage data and generate insights to optimize marketing efforts in a timely, agile fashion.
  • Assist in developing public relations efforts including press releases, media pitches and interviews
  • Plan and manage marketing budget allocated to supported service lines
Requirements:
  • Relevant business / marketing degree
  • 5+ years of experience in portfolio/product marketing or a related marketing role
  • Previous experience marketing data and analytics solutions, AI and digital technologies, and/or B2B consulting services preferred
  • Experience collaborating with matrixed teams of stakeholders across business and marketing funtions
  • Strong understanding of the B2B product marketing discipline, including the pragmatic marketing framework, market segmentation, competitive positioning, buyer journeys, and buyer personas
  • Demonstrated success driving demand through omni-channel campaigns and account-based marketing strategies
  • Understanding of content marketing strategies, and a demonstrated ability to lead messaging and content development
  • Some knowledge of media, analyst or influencer relations experience desired
  • Some knowledge of campaign lead flow and marketing automation tools, such as Marketo, HubSpot, SalesForce, etc.
  • Understanding of SEO/SEM and how to glean insights to improve performance and outcomes
  • Understanding of campaign performance metrics and success parameters
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
