TITLE: Senior Project Manager
LOCATION: Hybrid (Newport Beach, CA)
STATUS: Full-Time
SCHEDULE: 8:30am – 9 PM PST
PAY : $70-90/Hour DOE
This is the pay range that BAHAMA Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position.
FLSA STATUS: Non – Exempt (Overtime paid at 1.5X regular rate of pay)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Concurrently manage multiple projects that are at various stages in the project life cycle to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, as well as achievement of targeted benefits.
- Perform this work with an eye on customer satisfaction, anticipating the needs of the project sponsors and delivering on those needs proactively and with a high degree of quality
- Apply full lifecycle project management processes and tools using OVM’s Project Management Methodology (based on PMBOK), from project initiation and planning, through execution and closure
- Independently conduct research as needed on new concepts and subject matter associated with assigned projects
- Use verbal and written communication skills, executive presence, and influencing-without- authority abilities to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels of the organization to drive projects to success
- Develop and deliver executive-level presentations that clearly and concisely tell a compelling story: Conduct interviews to understand current state as well as future state of the project, determine gaps between current and future state, and collaborate with project team members to determine how to address the gaps.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 6+ years of experience in project management
- PMP certification or must acquire within 12 months of hire.
