We are an ISO 9001:2015 registered leading manufacturer of cold headed and cold formed fasteners, doing business for over 35 years. We are currently looking to expand our quality department.

**MUST HAVE FASTENER EXPERIENCE**

As part of the Quality team, you will be responsible for working with and maintaining all facets of the quality lab such as but not limited to calibration, inspection, testing, corrective action, and internal audits. As well as training up coworkers to support you and collectively work better as a team.

It is important you have skills to help train coworkers and building working relationships with customers and vendors.

Essential Duties for the Quality Department:

  • Inspect, test, and accept or reject raw materials, intermediaries, and finished products using written specifications, as established by company procedures.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing and other Quality Technicians.
  • Review Production Records to check the accuracy of data entered by production personnel.
  • Assist in maintaining the Quality documentation system.
  • Record data in quality logs, software package, and maintain accurate records in accordance good documentation practices.
  • Report production issues to Shop Manager and ask for guidance on next steps if unsure.
  • Work in conjunction with operations and R&D teams, troubleshoot quality concerns that may arise on the production floor, and are beyond of Quality Control duties.
  • Perform production line checks throughout facility every hour.
  • Maintenance of retains for raw materials and finished goods in a neat, orderly manner.
  • Provide writing reports when participating in identifying, investigating, and processing Corrective/Preventive Actions, Customer Complaints, product Non-Conformance, Deviations, Quality Alerts, and Returned Goods Authorizations.
  • Maintenance and housekeeping of laboratory testing equipment and surrounding areas in the lab.
  • Update and distribute appropriate documentation to production personnel.
  • Testing of customer samples.
  • Assist with yearly audits for ISO.
  • Assists with equipment calibration schedule.
  • May be required, as needed, to work overtime, weekends or alternate shifts to support production.
  • Follow all safety rules and take a leadership role in ensuring a safe environment.
  • Assist in writing, editing, and training of standard operating procedures as needed.
  • Appropriately represent company during customer meetings and yearly audits
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

The senior technician will be expected to delegate duties and communicate with all departments to ensure the best possible working relationship with staff and customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
