Job Title: Senior SIEM Technician

Work Location

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

· 5+ years of experience in information security

· 3+ years of experience as a Subject Matter Expert in Splunk

· Strong understanding of data onboarding and normalization

· Demonstrated experience maintaining Splunk as an enterprise SIEM solution

· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

· Strong communication and collaboration skills

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment

· CISSP, Splunk Certified Power User, or other relevant certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities:

· Design, implement, and maintain Splunk as an enterprise SIEM solution

· Perform data onboarding and normalization to ensure that all relevant data sources are collected and analyzed in a timely and efficient manner

· Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and alerts to support incident response and threat hunting activities

· Collaborate with the security team to ensure that the SIEM solution is properly configured to identify and respond to security incidents

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the SIEM solution

· Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends, and ensure that the SIEM solution is updated accordingly

· Provide guidance and mentorship to junior SIEM technicians
