Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and cloud infrastructure. Problem-solving is key with the ability to utilize creative and innovative thinking.
Rather than include the same old boring job description, here is a list of tasks the prospective employee may be asked to accomplish and/or attributes the candidate should possess.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Writing scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code
- Playing a key role in architectural and design decisions, building toward an efficient microservice distributed architecture
- Provided the autonomy to create an impact while tackling complex technical challenges
- Working in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software solutions
- Troubleshooting production issues and coordinating with the development team to streamline code deployment
- Analyzing code and communicating detailed reviews to development teams
- Collaborating with team members to improve the company's engineering tools, policy, procedures, and security
Some must-haves:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expert development knowledge (Javascript, Python, Java etc.)
- Experience working with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP or Azure)
- Experience successfully building production scalable software systems
- Fluency in security practices; Knowledge of principle of least privilege
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now and in the future
Skill that are a Major +
Experience developing cloud software services and an understanding of design for scalability, performance and reliability.
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools.

Other Information
The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required. Salary dependent upon experience.
