Service Advisor - HONDA Job at South/Vista Automotive Group
South Motors HONDA is searching for a knowledgeable and professional Service Advisor to help vehicle owners care for their cars and understand the value of maintaining them following Honda factory guidelines.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Inspect vehicles and apply proper resources to identify and verify clients’ needs accurately.
- Record vehicle information on the repair order, refer to service history, inspect the and recommend necessary service to clients.
- Promote the sales of appropriate services, parts, and accessories by thoroughly understanding the Honda product and associated service requirements.
- Write and verify correct repair orders and include supporting documentation.
- Administer new and used vehicle warranty repairs under warranty specifications.
- Ensure requested vehicle services are completed correctly by inspecting the vehicle before each delivery.
- Perform a consultative vehicle delivery with the client when completed.
- Supervise cleaning and preparation of new and used vehicles.
- Build and maintain knowledge of Honda products and services via on-the-job training and participation in educational and development programs.
- Meet requirements of state and federal law for automobile repair and consumer protection.
Job Requirements
- Technically knowledgeable, experienced, or trainable in the Honda product line
- Strong organizational skills
- Outgoing and patient personality with good client relations
- Professional appearance
- Excellent communication capability
- High school or equivalent
- Technical certification preferred
