Service Technician

Wheeler Material Handling is currently seeking fulltime forklift technicians for a high demand, stable, vastly growing company. We service all types and brands of material handling equipment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to learn new methods of working with others on equipment.
• Ability to safely operate power tools and equipment.
• Must possess a positive attitude.
• Basic computer skills
• Obtain parts and technical information needed to repair equipment.
• Accurately communicate appropriate information to those who need to know in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Technicians are required to provide their own tools.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check as well as physical and drug screening.
• Technicians are required to complete and continue online training to gain knowledge on equipment
• Project a positive and professional image by interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner.
