They operate through two segments: Electronic Instruments and Electromechanical. The Electronic Instruments segment designs and manufactures analytical, test, and measurement instrumentation for the energy, aerospace, power, research, medical, and industrial markets. The Electromechanical segment provides automation and precision motion control solutions, as well as electrical interconnects, specialty metals, and thermal management systems.

Job Description:

  • Properly process, pack and handle components to arrive undamaged to customers and suppliers (internal and external).
  • Follow set ISO procedures.
  • Basic computer knowledge to receive incoming material.
  • Work well with internal and external customers to complete the job efficiently and safely.

Job-specific duties, qualifications, and skills requirements, plus educational and physical requirements:

  • Pack, weigh, address and seal boxes containing electro-mechanical assemblies and optical components and their sub-assemblies.
  • Operate a variety of woodworking tools such as the panel saw, band saw, and pneumatic Nailers.
  • Crate instruments and optics for domestic/international shipment
  • Call freight carriers to arrange to pick up freight.
  • Complete shipping bill of lading and documentation for common carrier, air freight, UPS, and Federal Express.
  • Complete computer transactions for shipments, invoicing, and material movements in NAV
  • Move incoming material throughout the facility to various warehouse
  • Replenish warehouses with inventory from the main warehouse (ZMMT)
  • Maintain daily shipping documents and organize international shipping documents and invoices for shipments.
  • Operate forklift (5,000 lbs)
  • Maintain a valid Connecticut State driver's license.
  • Receiving: Identify electronic and mechanical assemblies, verify items, count to purchase orders, and accurately enter data on the computer system.
  • Perform other similar and related duties as assigned.
  • Understand written and verbal English.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and organized workstation
  • Prioritize and work effectively on a variety of demanding tasks and schedules.
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Must be a team player and offer new ideas.
