The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating outbound truck schedules with approved carriers, for preparing a daily schedule based on truck schedules, managing incoming Metal Process and preparing paperwork for outbound materials from the plant.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring quality shipments, high productivity; and identifying cost improvements in the shipping department
- Maintain good employee relations with internal and external customers
- Track performance measurements
- Implement policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Basis or Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in logistics, facilities, manufacturing, or warehouse environment
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 3 years’ experience in logistics, facilities, manufacturing, or warehouse environment

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
