Shipping & Delivery
A local manufacturer of premium vinyl window and door products suited to a wide range of applications and projects is looking to hire a Shipping and Delivery person.
Minimum Requirements:
- 18 + years of age
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required to be insured through company’s insurance.
- Ability to Lift 50 to 75 lbs.
- Ability to learn to drive truck with trailer.
- A willingness to learn and retain information.
- A requirement to pass the pre-employment drug test
Will Train Candidate To:
- Learn to recognize the type and size of the different windows and doors.
- Learn to load the trailer, so that the windows and doors don't get damaged in transit, so that the load is arranged in order of delivery, so that the loads are complete according to the paperwork, so that the load is tied off correctly.
- Learn to read the paperwork so that the delivery is accomplished without error.
- Learn the delivery routes.
- Learn process to keep delivery truck maintained (take for service, etc.)
- Learning the process of paperwork as employee will be responsible for picking up inventory
- Will be moving inventory within the plan (Will be forklift certified if not already).
Working Hours Per Week
- Full-Time Monday – Friday 8 hour shift 40+ hours per week
Hourly Wage
- Starting wage is $19 DOE
