SHIPPING LOADING CREW Job at Sanderson Farms, Inc.
Major Responsibilities:
- Stacks cases of poultry products on pallets by code and moves product to staging area.
- Stacks frozen poultry on trucks.
- Loads fresh/chill packed poultry products.
- Cleans and sanitizes shipping dock and loading area daily.
- Separates frozen product by codes.
- Makes itemized count of product placed on trucks.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
III. Position Requirements:
*In addition to meeting the basic qualifications for new employees, the employee must also meet the following qualifications:
- Able to work in various temperatures. This includes temperatures of 32 degrees Fahrenheit and lower.
- Able to work in cold, wet, and humid environment.
- Able to bend stoop, reach, grasp, twist, and kneel.
- Able to lift 40lbs or more, utilizing proper lifting techniques.
- Able to work in a noisy environment.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Tolerate exposure to chemicals within OSHA limits.
- Able to wear all required PPE
