SHIPPING IS A VALUED DEPARTMENT

We are key in getting products into the hands of our valued customers. As a picker we focus on completing orders that are laid out on the Parcel and Freight Desk. We have a picking cheat sheet to help to determine the skid size that is required for the order you are working on. Our Team Leads, Supervisors, and teammates are available and want to help you!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Picks and packs products needed for shipment in an accurate and effective manner
• Support the shipment of products or in the storage of products destined for sale to our distributors
• Responsible for timely loading of picked/packed products
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor as needed

• Must be able to operate an electronic scanner and follow existing standard operating procedures
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Must be able to work in shifts 8-10 hours long (longer if needed), where you are regularly required to stand, walk, and use basic sensory functions
