Job Title: Site Technician
Pay Rate: $20.40 to 24.00/Hr
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Corinth, MS
Shift Timings: 1st Shift (8:00 AM -5:00 PM)
Responsibilities:
- The Technician is a role within that is assigned to support specific customers and their processes.
- The candidate will provide weekly onsite technical support to customer locations - 3 times per week at the Booneville, MS, or Corinth, MS locations and 2 times per week at 4 customer locations in Dyersburg, TN. The position will require some weekend hours.
- Conduct weekly audits/service reports, monthly status reports, and process improvement ideas for dedicated customers.
- Identify and help work on new sales opportunities for assigned customers.
- Ensure adequate chemical supply through troubleshooting with customer service at specific locations.
- Pull and Titrate samples.
- Record temperatures and pressures.
- Verify the system is operating within recommended specifications.
- Visually inspect spray patterns.
- Verify expected cleanliness/coating of parts.
- Train operators.
- Discuss findings with appropriate customer personnel.
- Fill out/email service report to customer.
- Review quality during each visit.
- Discuss customer goals and help to achieve them.
- Assist customers with orders and inventory.
- Conduct technical training classes for personnel.
- Conduct regular monthly communications with the assigned account manager updating account status.
- Liaison with site personnel from washer operators to supervisors, department managers, quality managers, EHS managers, divisional vice presidents, and purchasing.
Required Skills:
- Associate's Degree in Engineering, Operations, Chemistry, or related field. Bachelor’s Degree is a plus.
- One+ year experience in a manufacturing environment (engineering, technical sales, management).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
- Proficient in standard Windows software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
