Role Description:
The SOC Security Professional will assume primary responsibility for monitoring, assessing, and communicating risk and crisis events with potential impacts to the company’s worldwide operations, business travelers, and senior leadership. This individual will leverage a variety of data sources to evaluate and synthesize information, prepare intelligence reports, and disseminate to audiences across the company.
During incidents, the SOC security professional will collaborate with Corporate Security team members as well as other stakeholders to collect detailed and accurate information. In addition, they will provide information in a concise manner to the appropriate stakeholders to ensure they are equipped with the necessary information to mitigate risk to the business.
This is an on-site role and is based in Richmond, Virginia.
Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible include monitoring, assessing, and reporting on threats to the company’s worldwide operations by leveraging proprietary and open sources.
Prepare accurate, succinct, and timely communications on issues that could impact site operations globally, business travelers, and other business units.
Perform Crisis Management Duties by monitoring critical assets, initiating response actions and notification in the event of emergency situations.
Maintain ongoing awareness of Executive Leadership travel.
Prepare weekly threat assessments and other intelligence reports.
Maintain proficiency of the Alert Media mass notification platform, and other GSOC intelligence and Threat tools.
Leverage social media research and analysis to support internal threat investigations.
Triage and escalate telephone inquiries to appropriate parties within the company.
Escalate travel related incidents to Security Leadership and other partners for follow up.
Support the security organization to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
Use of video management and access control systems to conduct incident reviews and other assigned tasks
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree Required
5+ years experience performing similar duties in military, law enforcement or corporate security.
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communications skills
Strong investigative and research skills
Strong critical analysis and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Open-Source searches)
Proficient with social media platforms including, but not limited to Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook
Ability to monitor inquiries, quickly receive and assess the information, recall operational procedures, and initiate actions. Must be able to “think on their feet".

25% Travel required
Ability to work 12-hour shifts
Ability to work some weekends
Ability to obtain FAA Part 107 License after 30 days
Ability to obtain CPR and AED certification after 30 days
Ability to maintain a LEOSA certification during years of service with the company
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior intelligence analyst experience preferred.
Currently CPR and AED Certified
Currently LEOSA certified and/or current concealed weapons permit
Prior supervisory experience preferred
