The Belmond-Klemme Community School District lies in the beautiful Iowa River Valley near the Interstate 35 and US Highway 20 corridors centered between Ames, Fort Dodge, and Mason City, and a short drive from all three cities.
Belmond-Klemme’s Jacobson Elementary School serves over 320 students in grades PK - 6 this year and is growing. Belmond-Klemme is a progressive school district that offers an outstanding faculty, supportive parents, and a proud academic tradition. Class size is low. The faculty is young, energetic, and friendly. The school building was built within the last twelve years and features the very latest in aesthetics and classroom comfort.
Belmond-Klemme is a one-to-one technology school, grades K - 6, and has distinguished itself in recent years with its progressive approach to 21st Century education. It seeks teachers skilled in this area, able to use technology to enhance student learning.
Our base salary is well above the state average, starting at $45,000.
Coaching and activity sponsorships are available with this position but not required.
