The Prime Video X-Ray Live Services team mission is to build scalable architecture and design building blocks that enable us to expand X-Ray experience to multitude of sports, geographies and languages. As a SDE on our team, you will build services, infrastructure and systems that will provide low latency, high availability and feature-rich functionality to drive engaging experiences across all Prime Video viewers. You will be innovating on cutting edge features to enhance experience for Thursday Night Football (TNF), English Premier League (EPL), Cricket India, Tennis and more yet-to-be-launched sports. This role is one of full ownership for features - from design to development and deployment. You will be part of a strong team in a fast-paced, start-up like environment where agile development is embraced and innovation and thinking big is encouraged. - BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
- Expert working knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object oriented design
- Expert working knowledge of design patterns
- Strong working knowledge of operating system fundamentals
- Working knowledge of REST service patterns and other client/server interaction models
- Working knowledge of common Internet technologies (e.g. HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX)
