We are seeking a full time QA II Analyst to join our mobile QA team within the Customer Experience Engineering organization in Starbucks. Our mobile apps are used every day by millions of Starbucks customers to order drinks, reload their Starbucks card, buy digital gift cards, and manage their Starbucks rewards account. The Customer Experience Engineering org is in the forefront of the Starbucks digital platform and as a core member of the team, you will maintain a high bar for quality on our iOS and Android mobile apps. You will own major features and will work closely with different disciplines across the organization from planning to release. This role requires a strong, self-driven team player who is passionate about software quality assurance and has experience in mobile app testing, Agile testing capabilities, experience with Accessibility testing, knowledge of UI automation, and excellent communication skills.
Primary Daily Responsibilities:
-Writing test plans for new features and supporting existing features during updates and redesigns
-Executing regression test cases for the monthly releases using beta release candidates
-Owning features through planning, implementation, and delivery
-Collaborating daily with, but not limited to QA, Product Managers, Product Design, Engineers, Backend Engineers, and API team.
Summary of Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience in Quality assurance and testing.
- Demonstrated collaboration on project teams and interaction with project managers, business and functional analysts, developers and the business community directly related to quality assurance responsibilities and roles. (3 years)
- Experience with reading, interpreting, and reviewing code is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrate test management processes and technical skills, including an understanding of manual and automated test execution and performance related tools. (3 years)
- Demonstrate knowledge using version control and defect tracking methods, including an understanding of associated tools. (3 years)
- Knowledge of application software development life cycle concepts, lean and agile best practices, environment and configuration management, as well as test management methodologies and practices. (3 years)
- Knowledge of HTTP Proxy applications: Charles/Fiddler
- Experience testing on iOS or Android (2-3 Years) having both is a plus
- Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus
- Experience with Android Studio or xCode (1- 3)
- Experience using ADB / Logcat/StackTrace ,etc.
- Experience with Jira is a plus
- Experience with TestRail is a plus
