Position Summary: CFSB is seeking an experienced Project manager to serve as coordinator between the Payment Solutions business and other departments. This position works closely and alongside the core business lines, and the Third-Party Risk Management team (TPRM) to ensure efficiency and timely workflow of the Payment Solutions pipeline. The successful Payment Solutions Project Manager should be well-versed in the market and has extensive experience in payments (ACH, TCH, Wires, Due Diligence, etc.), as well as possess a background with customer-facing technology solutions and integrations. The Payment Solutions Project Manager works cohesively with other departments to ensure proper customer onboarding and lifecycle by being the liaison between the Payment Solutions teams and the various departments within CFSB.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of complex strategic projects in the Payments space.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Payment Solutions team and the various departments within the Bank.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of bank offered products and services, assist customers with questions/concerns and communicate internally to obtain relevant responses.
- Establish and maintain project management standards and policies that directly align with the Payment Solutions business.
- Manage and maintain internal customer trackers;
- Proactively leading programs and project planning activities such as defining the overall scope of the project; creating and maintaining a consolidated timeline highlighting he major milestones and associated dates for activities; identifying and communicating project dependencies and impacts, putting mechanisms in place to ensure ongoing control of the project.
- Facilitating and leading project meetings, including setting agendas and noting takeaway to-do items.
- Proactively gathering necessary information from stakeholders across workstreams to drive decision making and escalation as needed.
- Optimize existing processes within the Payment Solution Division and Lending Division to actively enhance all Customer Success initiatives.
- Lead operational due diligence for project execution creating standardized reporting and dashboards.
- Foster cross-business area/segment collaboration.
- Coordinate with Technology Integration Managers to facilitate onboarding steps for our technology solutions.
- Supports business development initiatives including communicating with prospective internal stakeholders and providing timely responses to all requests.
- Act as key presenter and quarterback for the TPRM Oversight committee, Payment Approval Committee (PAC).
- Consulting with and providing feedback to the Payment Solutions leadership team.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
- Exceptional ability to communicate and foster positive business relationships.
- Strong tactical analysis and consultative skills; ability to make sound judgements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort in tackling intricate problems and breaking these down into controllable tasks.
- Strong technical skills; experience with CRM applications.
- Strong integrity and character; accountability and personal organization are essential.
- Ability to establish milestones and keep team members and internal partners informed.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the Payments space.
- Extensive knowledge of cryptocurrency is required.
- Experience in management consulting, project or program management required.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable managing relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to multi-task, problem solve and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong, proactive problem-solving abilities coupled with demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in coordinating with Compliance and Third Part Risk Management teams is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Payments programs and platforms.
