Sous Chef Job at Barrels & Boards
We are searching for a top-level Sous Chef to join our kitchen staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing and cooking food according to set recipes and following strict cleanliness standards. Working in a fast-paced high-volume restaurant environment, the ideal candidate will be able to take direction well, pay attention to details, and apply their skills in a productive manner.
Responsibilities:
- Read and understand recipes.
- Prepare food in a timely and accurate manner.
- Clean utensils and equipment to promote continued good kitchen hygiene.
- Maintain kitchen organization.
- Monitor food safety regulations, ensuring the food is properly handled, prepared and stored.
- Compile ingredient inventories, order food, and keep records of supplies used.
- Prepare the kitchen for service.

Pay: $60,769.00 - $63,883.00 per year
