DISTINGUISHING JOB CHARACTERISTICS

This position coordinates all activities associated with assuring that the Specialized
Dockets and Transformational Probation projects are implemented effectively at the local community level, and serves as primary liaison between the local implementation site and state/national program offices. It involves the development of community action planning and a broad range of coalition-oriented activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in community-oriented discipline or a Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of juvenile justice system supervison. Mediation and facilitation experience. Effective communicator with the ability to work with diverse populations. Minimum of five years of experience with the juvenile justice system, substance abuse treatment, child welfare, and education systems.

Ability to document identity and employment eligibility within three (3) days of original appointment as a condition of employment in compliance with Immigration Reform and
Control Act requirements.
