Molex has an opening for an experienced Senior Director of Digital Commercial Technology to lead our digital enablement strategy across all commercial functions. In this role, you will report to the VP of Digital Advantaged Capabilities and work in close partnership with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Digital, and other business functions to further define and drive the digital commercial strategy and related portfolio, leading the Digital Commercial Technology teams, and collaborating with adjacent teams along the value chain to enable and deliver a seamless, engaging customer and employee experience.

This role will require Global travel up to 25%

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Partner with Commercial leadership in the development of Molex’s Customer Experience transformation strategy; develop and implement an overall digital commercial enablement strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Global Sales & Marketing, Commercial, Digital (IT), and Global Capability, to define and prioritize digital capabilities and initiatives that support commercial objectives.
  • Lead the development and implementation of digital tools and capabilities that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of commercial operations, including sales enablement tools, marketing automation platforms, customer relationship management systems, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Define and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital commercial enablement, leveraging insights to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Research and advise on emerging digital trends, best practices and commercial enablement; proactively apply prioritized actions to improve our commercial capabilities and performance.
  • Lead the development of the capabilities for CX analytics and AI and provide insights in prioritized areas.
  • Ensure that all digital commercial teams effectively and efficiently design, develop, and deliver digital commercial tools and capabilities, and that ongoing support is provided to drive adoption, usage, and continuous improvement.
  • Assist in identifying, proposing, and addressing Commercial and CX improvement opportunities requiring cross-functional engagement.

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience leading commercial technology development, delivery and/or support capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience digital products to deliver commercial customer experience.
  • Proven track record of leading and implementing large digital enablement initiatives that have driven business results, and increased customer engagement.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong ability to mentor and develop teams at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver digital initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of commercial operations and processes, and experience identifying and prioritizing areas for improvement.
  • Experience utilizing human-centered design and agile methodologies.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Technology, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience with leading-edge digital capabilities critical to building a best-in-class digital customer experience including content management, product information management, and digital asset management.
  • Experience working with one or more of the following: electronics market, global manufacturing, integrated supply chain.
  • Experience in customer-facing function(s) such as sales, marketing, customer success, customer support, or web design & development.
  • Experience with customer journey mapping and related research techniques to discover and define customer and employee experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce capabilities, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager and other Adobe marketing products, such as Adobe Campaign and Adobe Analytics, as well as Salsify and Lucidworks.
  • Experience with digital analytics tools and platforms, and a strong ability to use data to inform decision-making.
  • Experience with process and technology integrations with systems such as SAP ERP.
