Who we are looking for:
We are currently looking for a Sr. Product Manager for our HDPE strategic business unit to be based in Dallas, TX. Reporting to the Vice President & General Manager of the HDPE SBU this person will be responsible of managing the HDPE portfolio.
What you’ll do:
- Manage the high density polyethene pipe and conduit portfolio
- Perform ABC/XYZ analysis and develop actions with the team based on the results
- Perform competitive analysis
- Improve and standardize pricing tools and methods
- Manage new product development cycle
- Organize and attend trade shows
- Create sales tools
- Manage social media postings
- All other duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business
- Knowledge of the products used in the installation of fiber optics networks will be extremely helpful in this role.
- Ten (10) years of related experience.
Within 3 months, you’ll:
- Complete your Atkore immersion program.
- Understand how your job will help deliver Atkore’s strategy.
- Gain an understanding of your team.
- Gain an understanding of the training materials and procedures your team owns.
Within 6-months, you’ll:
- Be working with the executive team to implement processes and improvements to manage the functions listed above.
Within 12-months, you’ll:
- Be managing an efficient team that delivers Atkore’s strategy.
- Creating and updating reports, training materials and documentation.
- Have meaningful performance conversations with your direct reports.
- Be able to resolve any issues quickly and safely
