Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for a Sr. Product Manager for our HDPE strategic business unit to be based in Dallas, TX. Reporting to the Vice President & General Manager of the HDPE SBU this person will be responsible of managing the HDPE portfolio.

What you’ll do:

• Manage the high density polyethene pipe and conduit portfolio
• Perform ABC/XYZ analysis and develop actions with the team based on the results
• Perform competitive analysis
• Improve and standardize pricing tools and methods
• Manage new product development cycle
• Organize and attend trade shows
• Create sales tools
• Manage social media postings
• All other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business
• Knowledge of the products used in the installation of fiber optics networks will be extremely helpful in this role.
• Ten (10) years of related experience.

Within 3 months, you’ll:

• Complete your Atkore immersion program.
• Understand how your job will help deliver Atkore’s strategy.
• Gain an understanding of your team.
• Gain an understanding of the training materials and procedures your team owns.

Within 6-months, you’ll:

• Be working with the executive team to implement processes and improvements to manage the functions listed above.

Within 12-months, you’ll:

• Be managing an efficient team that delivers Atkore’s strategy.
• Creating and updating reports, training materials and documentation.
• Have meaningful performance conversations with your direct reports.
• Be able to resolve any issues quickly and safely
