What You Will Do:
- Play assigned game(s) to completion
- Document glitches, bugs, and inaccuracies in specified bug tracking database
- Collect all XP points and Level up characters based on project assignments.
- Play assigned games with multiple characters and/or weapons
- Execute pre-written test cases
- Rate and/or recommend game, game additions, or modifications
- Analyze test results, bugs, and usability
- On a regular basis, acts as informal 'point' person for small team of testers on projects.
- Is responsible for the overall timeliness and quality of deliverables. Coordinates with other teams/functions.
- Assists in coaching junior staff by helping them to make decisions, and solve problems
To Be Successful You Will Have:
- Passion for video games
- Ideally, a minimum 1+ years of quality assurance
- Good interpersonal skills, creativity, efficiency, attention to detail, and good work organization
- Strong academic or practical knowledge of QA methodologies and tools, software testing standards, strategies, and the software development cycle
- Proven experience drafting and managing test cases for one or more features.
- Experience with industry standard test software such as JIRA, TestRail, Confluence, or equivalents
- Experience running build files with software suites such as Visual Studio
- Preferred higher education in technology
