- Performs office duties, including answering phones, directing calls to appropriate parties, data entry, filing, and other general duties as assigned.
- Provides administrative support, including scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings/conferences, and maintaining/ordering office supplies.
- Serves as a liaison with other departments and constituencies in the resolution of matters concerning the activities and operations of the department.
- Sorts, screens, and distributes incoming and outgoing mail.
- Composes and word-processes various standard documents, correspondence, and reports.
- May update website content.
- May provide business related support for departmental programs and projects.
- Conducts research, compiles data, and prepares papers for consideration and presentation by executives, committees, and directors.
- Assists students, staff, and superiors with highly varied, complex, and non-recurring questions and/or problems.
- May work independently to provide high-level administrative support to a large or complex program.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Four years of experience; or an associate degree/technical training plus two years of experience; or a bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of education plus experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated ability to work with faculty, staff, students, parents, and children
- Demonstrated ability to work with FERPA records.
- Experience with EZ Buy
- Experience with p-cards
- A working knowledge of Banner
