Intermediate consulting position operating independently with minimal assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle Cerner and Continuous Improvement Delivery methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle Cerner products and technology to meet customer specifications.

Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.

2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

As a Staff Consultant hire at Oracle Cerner, you will consult with Oracle Cerner clients to deliver optimization-based consulting services on the Continuous Improvement Delivery team. Specifically, the Continuous Improvement Delivery specializes in short, data-driven optimization projects. These projects are intended to achieve a measurable outcome as quickly as possible in way that engages the end-users in the process of delivering Oracle Cerner ’s Model Experience. Each optimization project includes an Engagement Owner, Consultant(s) and Data Analyst who play an active role in achieving successful project outcomes.

You will also consult with clients on service line workflow and guide them through interdependencies and design decision impacts. You will provide solution oversight, direction and expertise to stakeholders, drive client-specific solution configuration design to meet workflow requirements and make recommendations to clients and mitigate solution risks and issues. Lastly, you will execute workflow and process improvement strategies, lead client meetings and events and drive internal team initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
    • At least 1 year healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience
    • At least 5 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
  • High School Diploma

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
