Job Summary
The Multimedia production and support position will assist UK Online in the creation of media assets for online courses. The position will produce photos, videos, audio, and other resources. An eye for pacing and visual appeal while creating the materials will be important to maintain the engagement of the audience.
The position will primarily be on the main campus with field work taking place as well. Remote work may include the capture of lectures, interviews, and demonstrations. The final product is expected to be a well-produced piece that effectively conveys the information both audibly and visually. The videographer will occasionally be asked to take photographs in the field, so a strong knowledge of photography is a plus. Studio productions will be a combination of screen capture, interviews, and lectures that will be recorded at the Faculty Media Depot. Studio-recorded footage will be cut together with additional assets to increase visual appeal and continuity.
In addition to traditional production methods, the position may be asked to utilize new technologies and platforms to capture and distribute the content created. An eagerness to learn new methods and work with these new technologies is important.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Technical Skills:
- Experience with Adobe Premiere or equivalent editing
- Experience with graphics production in Adobe After Effects
- Knowledge of field and studio production as it pertains to
- Able to coordinate preproduction and production elements of
- Understanding of media formats and best practices for web
- Photography experience is a plus
- Adobe Photoshop proficiency
- Media asset management knowledge
