Sterile Processing Lead Job at Columbia Valley Community Health
Columbia Valley Community Health (CVCH) is growing! CVCH is a dynamic, progressive community health center with locations in Wenatchee, East Wenatchee, and Chelan. We have an excellent opportunity for a Sterile Processing Lead at our Wenatchee location.
Responsible for the daily operations of the Sterile Processing department for all CVCH medical and dental teams. Leads the services and department to maintain compliance with regulatory agencies, maintain appropriate inventory levels, effective staffing levels, quality standards. Collaborates with medical and dental teams to ensure efficient, safe and effective equipment availability. Position is a working supervisory role.
Position Requirements:
· Associates Degree in business, manufacturing, health care administration, public health, or health sciences, or comparable experience/education required.
· Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from International Association of Healthcare (IAHCSMM). Certified Instrument specialist and Certification in Healthcare Leadership (IAHCSMM) preferred.
· Three (3) years’ experience in an acute or ambulatory-care sterile processing department or comparable experience. Must have two (2) or more years supervisory experience.
