The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the general operations of each store, with a particular focus on the scheduling and oversight of staff; customer service; and the appearance, safety, and security of the working environment.

Store Managers oversee the customer service environment of the store, provide training and support to customer-facing staff, and ensure customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient while maintaining the friendly and welcoming atmosphere that Basil Bandwagon is known for.

The Store Manager, works 40-45 hours per week, including at least one weekend shift and at least one evening shift.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A friendly, outgoing personality capable of interacting with a variety of personalities;
• Experience in managing a retail environment;
• Ability to manage the workflow of others;
• Exceptional time-management skills;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Willingness to ask questions or seek help when required;

• Attention to detail and critical thinking;
• Good mathematical skills;
• The highest cash handling standards;
• Strong computer skills (especially Spreadsheets and Google Apps).
