Remote work is an option - provided the candidate is a ND resident and resides within the state of North Dakota.

Summary of Work


This position will perform duties to service BND DEAL Student Loans throughout the entire loan lifecycle, including counseling on the loan origination process, avoiding delinquency, student loan refinance and successful repayment. This position is the primary inbound call contact for our student loan customers and requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. In addition to their primary duties the customer service team supports their coworkers within the Education Market on special projects. A successful candidate is detail oriented, has excellent time management skills, is willing to be flexible and will dedicate themselves to understanding all aspects of the DEAL Student Loan program to provide positive interactions with our internal and external customers.

Minimum Qualifications


  • Requires a high school diploma or GED and four years of related customer service work experience related to servicing a variety of products or services, receiving and analyzing information to find solutions, and addressing customer concerns. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for this position.

  • College or vocational education focus in accounting, business administration, banking, economics, or finance may be substituted for the four-year work experience requirement on a year-for-year basis.
