Do you excel at helping others? Does student success motivate you? Are you an excellent listener? Academy of Art University seeks a positive and personable Student Success Advisor to join our team. Student Success Advisors primarily communicate with students by phone and through email. The Academy is seeking candidates that enjoy this type of communication, who have a strong sense of organization and time management, have high adaptability, enjoy working with others and can manage multiple priorities with ease. This is a full remote role, working 9am to 6pm (PST).

What You’ll Achieve:

• Support student retention through proactive outreach by phone and email
• Set students up for success by assisting with registration
• Connect students to Academy of Art University resources
• Become well-versed in the Academy’s curriculum
• Think outside the box and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills
• Gain database skills in Salesforce and PeopleSoft
• Improve communication skills over the phone and email

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with students in higher education preferred
• Passionate about student success and higher education
• Empathetic, patient and positive
• Excellent phone and written communication skills
• Able to thrive in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment
• Salesforce experience is a plus

Compensation: $64,480 annually, based on location.

Academy of Art University is based solely in San Francisco, California. This job opportunity may be available for remote work from a predesignated location within the contiguous United States.
