Restaurant management experience required, but it doesn't have to be with Subway.

Position Summary
The Store Manager is responsible for directing the daily operations of a restaurant, ensuring compliance with standards in all areas of operation, including store appearance, product preparation and delivery the Conversion Concepts Customer Absolutes.
Position Responsibilities
1. Ensures that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly, welcoming environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer and maintaining outstanding standards
2. Holds all employees accountable thru coaching and Employee Communication memos
3. Makes termination recommendation to Area Coach
4. Conducts performance evaluations.
5. Interviews and hires all employees
6. Monitors and ensures all training is completed
7. Optimizes company's sales profits and customer satisfaction objectives through recruitment of key talent, training, scheduling, and development of employees; ensures compliance with all policies and procedures through regular staff meetings and daily store walk-thru's; continually evaluate and react to performance issues
8. Actively manages store’s profitability and budget by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, portion control, food waste, expenses, managing labor, and reviewing financial reports on regular basis and taking appropriate actions
9. Ensures accurate completion of daily and weekly paperwork; and, company standards on equipment, facility, and grounds are maintained.
10. Executes corporate & local marketing plans and activities according to plan and in a timely manner.
11. Consistently represents the company’s values and standards to employees, peers, vendors, customers and the community
12. Any other responsibilities as assigned.

Education/Experience:
High School education or equivalent. Previous restaurant management experience is required, preferably in the quick service industry.
Language Ability:
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, customers, and the general public; read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must be able to multi-task.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of Word Processing software, Spreadsheet software, and proven aptitude for learning new systems and software.
Certificates and Licenses:
Active driver’s license and food handler’s card.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Position is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Subway Store’s crew and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training store employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
