A , As a Co-op you will be Under the leadership of the EH&S for Keurig Dr Pepper in Burlington, MA. the EH&S Co-Op is responsible for project-based work supporting the EH&S Management System. The EH&S Co-Op will have the opportunity to practice their academic learnings in a multi-faceted national company, and will collaborate with, and impact all levels of the organization through a wide range of projects.

- The KDP 2023 Summer Co-Op Program will run from July 10 - Dec 8 2023
- Full-time; 40 hours per week
- Monday-Friday
- Flexible on start time

With full support and direction from the Burlington, MA EH&S Lead, the EH&S Co-Op will support the following projects.

- Review Chemical program (Site-hawk): update/ remove and add chemicals, add where used location. Assist in documentation of corrosive & flammable items being stored on site and ensure compliance with Burlington Board of Health.
- Assist in reviewing and/or addition of lock-out tagout documentation in “Link 360”.
- Assist with EH&S Legal Registry Action Items for Burlington MA. link to programs on the shared drives.
- Develop a calendar reminder for due dates (permits, HMRF, wastewater reports, etc.)
- Develop and Implement Equipment Intake Program
Document Control Project

- Establish criteria for identifying documentation and appropriate storage
- Map the process for centralization and filing of both electronic and hard copies
- Develop process flow for approving and communicating new documents and archiving old documents.
Skills
- Strong analytical skills to analyze large datasets.
- Ability to interact with KDP personnel across IT and business functions.
- A strong customer focus, with the ability to manage expectations to deliver expected results.
As a co-op/intern at Keurig Dr Pepper, you will:
- Participate in meet & greets and lunch & learns with KDP executives and other organization leaders
- Receive professional development training such as networking, professional skills development and presenting
- Be paired with a mentor to enhance your knowledge of other parts of the business and build your network
- Complete a project from start to finish and present it and your takeaways to your team, department vice president and other KDP stakeholders
Qualifications
- EH&S Certificate Program Students EH&S
- Be an undergraduate student currently enrolled in their junior or senior year in a full-time academic program
- Masters students preferred

- Awareness of EH&S Regulations, and Codes
- Basic safety system knowledge & awareness
- Safe Work Procedure development Process flow mapping - steps of practice
- Basic use of data management systems Understanding of hazard or risk matrices
