Summer Law Clerk
A law firm in Frederick, Maryland has an opening for a summer law clerk. We exclusively practice immigration law, with a focus on removal defense and family-based visas. We are looking for candidates excited to serve the immigrant community with compassion and competency.
The position offers a competitive compensation package, commensurate with experience. Immigration law experience is not required, but is preferred.
Job expectations:
- Draft pleadings for state court.
- Draft briefs for immigration court.
- Assist with trial preparation.
- Meet with clients to obtain narratives for affidavits and review applications for filing.
- Prepare forms using information acquired from clients.
- Update the case management system and hard-copy files.
