This position will support the summer SOLE program
Three vacancies exist for Physical Education Teachers to support the Summer SOLE Program. Locations will include Opequon Elementary, Hedgesville Elementary, or Valley View Elementary.

- Needs for this position may change and are based on student enrollment and student needs.
Employment term will consist of Half Days Monday – Thursday, 11:00am - 3:00pm except for unpaid holidays of June 19, WV Day (June 20), July 3rd and Fourth of July (July 4).

Job Type Description
The successful applicant will teach PE/Health classes in assigned grades, along with other duties and responsibilies as assigned.
Salary Schedule
Berkeley County Schools Teacher Pay Scale based upon degree level and verified years of experience.
Specialized Skills
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree and hold or be eligible for West Virginia licensure with endorsement(s) in Physical Education or Health and PE appropriate for grade levels.
If a certified candidate is unavailable for this position, then an applicant who is eligible for a first-class permit, alternative certification, Teacher-in-Residence, or a perm sub can be considered.
