Supervisor, Cash Receipts– Job Description

As a member of the accounting team, the Cash Receipts Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the cash application team leads and specialists and making key decisions to ensure timely and accurate cash application.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision to the cash application teams across multiple entities and GL systems
  • Develop, mentor, and coach team members for growth
  • Conduct one-on-ones and performance reviews
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to scheduled work tasks, policies, and procedures
  • Assist in the implementation of a new ERP system
  • Research and correct payment application discrepancies
  • Identify process improvement and automation opportunities and drive their implementation for more efficient and accurate cash application process
  • Liaise with the Billing and Credit & Collections teams to ensure proper flow of information and consistent process improvement
  • Support a positive work environment
  • Be an example for our people by demonstrating Medical Solutions’ Core Values
  • Other duties, as assigned

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, or general accounting experience
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Must have previous experience supervising, leading and mentoring a team
  • Must demonstrate professionalism and the ability to solve problems
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and assignments while consistently meeting deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Management of a large and increasing workload
  • Must be honest, ethical, and uphold company values
  • Excellent organizational skills

Preferences:

  • Knowledge of Excel, PeopleSoft, Great Plains and D365 F&O preferred
