Graduation from a standard four-year high school or GED.
First-level Support Care vocational position accountable for transporting/escorting clients to appointments, participating in client activities, attending therapy sessions with patients, providing recreation/leisure services, and distributing snacks/food to clients.
Plans and directs a program of recreational activities for IRS to include, but not limited to movies, dining out, structured games and leisure activities as well as community and/or seasonal events such as Queen City Fair and Church Programs.
Plans and leads recreational groups/activities, observes and documents on the progress of IRS and completes initial and annual recreation assessments.
Must possess computer skills to include emails, memos, and documentation of progress of IRS.
Assists with hospital wide recreation programming on a weekly basis and completes other similar tasks as deemed necessary by administration.
