Company Overview: SPS is a Medical Billing and consulting company headquartered in New Jersey, outside of New York City. We are experts in the specialties of Orthopaedics, Spine Surgery, Neurosurgery, Plastics and other similar areas of study.

Position Summary: The objective of this position is to code and enter surgical and other charges for the above mentioned specialties.

Responsibilities:

• CPT and ICD10 Coding directly from Op reports
• Coordinate with other team members on coding errors or denials
• Respond to client inquiries
• Use of Medevolve Practice Management system
• Meet daily productivity goals
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

CPC and previous experience with ASC facility, Orthopaedics, Spine, and Pain Management coding.

Qualifications:

• Strong skills in the use of Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Positive, outgoing personality with “can-do” attitude
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to multi-task
• Able to analyze information and respond
• Self-motivated learner
